“Alt
By Britta B

Alt-Spring

another matcha latte with lipstick

on the lid makes a calm

& daisy-like wish to c u soonest

someone's guitar woos the northbound

traffic like !!!!! but the tune's a small relief

too fickle to compare to your forever fresh

no way to replace how you ripen or thaw

how your green eyes wedge a loveliness bet

-ween traveling alone & boredom

how famous you make a sleepy street after fog

eats all ambition like a bbbbeast

how starstruck you make a weeping willow

do others know? do you know your name

sounds like what becomes of us

when : finally : we flower at your feet?
