By Andrea Josic
The Humber River watershed is the
largest in our intentional city, formed
through an erosion of millenial's dusk
Did you know, even salmon home
journey backwards to a safer place
when the night begins to carve out the day
Sometimes, they call a river stream an arm,
meaning, I would host this earth's hand to
trail these thousand patterns for you
So let me briefly meet you where
birds revoice in the year's thaw as I
thunder in from an end much quieter
across seconds of dune and sky and bridge
And I'll let you know
I will be home again soon
